Through proactive training initiatives and responsive incident management, you will play an essential role in safeguarding both customer trust and organisational reputation.

  • Develop and enhance comprehensive compliance frameworks, policies, and controls that underpin business expansion while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for regulatory compliance and data privacy, offering practical, commercially focused guidance to stakeholders at every level of the organisation.
  • Monitor ongoing regulatory developments and translate complex legal requirements into actionable business practices that are easily understood by colleagues.
  • Conduct thorough compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities, and control reviews to proactively identify and mitigate potential regulatory risks.
  • Lead critical compliance-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely implementation in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Manage all aspects of regulatory engagements including reporting requirements, audits, and responses to inquiries from regulators.
  • Investigate incidents related to compliance or privacy matters, ensuring appropriate remediation actions are taken and reported accurately.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to integrate compliance considerations into core business processes and new product launches.
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance through engaging training sessions, awareness campaigns, and active stakeholder involvement.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Compliance Officer in this forward-thinking fintech setting, your background should include substantial hands-on experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes within financial services or related industries. Your proven ability to design governance structures that adapt seamlessly to rapid organisational change will set you apart. You bring not only technical expertise but also outstanding interpersonal skills—enabling you to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels while building consensus around best practices. Your pragmatic outlook ensures that solutions are both compliant and commercially viable. A natural collaborator who thrives on shared success, you are comfortable taking initiative yet always value input from others. Your commitment to continuous learning means you stay abreast of regulatory trends while nurturing those around you through training and mentorship.

  • At least five years’ experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Data Privacy or similar functions within fintech, digital lending, payments, banking or financial services sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective compliance frameworks and governance programmes tailored to fast-growing organisations.
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities independently while making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Commercially minded approach with the capacity to balance regulatory requirements against broader business objectives pragmatically.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across diverse teams.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, monitoring activities, control reviews and responding effectively to regulatory inquiries or audits.
