FP&A Manager

A leading organisation in Bangkok’s CBD area is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their Finance team. This role offers you the opportunity to become a trusted business partner, supporting operational and commercial leaders with end-to-end financial management across diverse projects and portfolios.

What you'll do:

• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and variance-analysis cycle for assigned business units or projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all financial planning activities.
• Provide monthly and quarterly management reporting including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, balance sheet impacts, and comprehensive KPI dashboards.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support scenario planning, investment cases, and business decision-making processes.
• Partner closely with operational leadership teams to translate business activity into meaningful financial outcomes, facilitating clear communication between finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Monitor gross margin and contribution margin by project, product, or customer line; investigate variances against budget or forecast with thorough root-cause analysis.
• Lead cost-control initiatives across direct and indirect cost lines by identifying cost drivers and implementing effective strategies for savings.
• Support pricing decisions through detailed cost-base analysis, margin modelling, and competitive context evaluation; review non-standard pricing proposals for financial viability.
• Ensure revenue recognition is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant accounting standards; oversee billing-readiness assessments ahead of revenue-triggering milestones.
• Oversee accounts payable processes including invoice verification, approval workflows, payment scheduling, vendor reconciliation; manage accounts receivable processes such as invoicing accuracy, collections, ageing analysis, credit-risk monitoring.
• Track funding requirements and capital deployment status against approved budgets; coordinate with treasury teams on cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning.

What you bring:

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent recognised certification is a plus
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in business finance roles including FP&A or financial controllership within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience across the full finance stack: FP&A, accounts payable/receivable management, revenue accounting, cost/margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for building and maintaining budget/forecast models from scratch; strong analytical skills for interpreting data trends.
• Solid understanding of internal controls frameworks, audit requirements, statutory compliance obligations including tax filings and transfer pricing regulations.
• Experience supporting or leading funding/capital tracking initiatives involving liaison with lenders/investors/treasury functions.
• Excellent communication skills enabling clear presentation of financial findings to non-finance stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
• Prior experience in project-based environments (infrastructure/technology/capital-intensive sectors), exposure to multi-entity/intercompany/cross-border finance operations is advantageous.
