Financial Controller

A well-established organisation in Bangkok is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial planning, reporting, governance, and business performance. This is a senior finance leadership role with broad exposure across the business, partnering with key stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do:

• Develop comprehensive budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic plans that align with organisational objectives while monitoring their ongoing performance.
• Lead the overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes in line with business objectives.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Ensure appropriate tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors, advisors, and relevant authorities when required.
• Monitor financial risks and develop appropriate controls and mitigation plans to support the organisation’s financial stability.
• Drive cost management initiatives, including analysis of product and operational costs, variances, and profitability.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support investment decisions, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with key business functions to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, managing costs, and enhancing business performance.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, foreign exchange exposure, and related financial risk management activities.
• Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, providing management with clear analysis and recommendations.
• Lead, develop, and motivate multiple finance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA would be an advantage.
• At least 15 years of relevant finance experience, with solid experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background across financial controlling, accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience in cost management, profitability analysis, cash flow management, and financial risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different business functions.
• Good command of both Thai and English.
