A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Financial Controller for their Chonburi plant (x1 vacancy), offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive environment. As Financial Controller for Manufacturing Plant in Chonburi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to review detailed financial reports, direct accounting operations, supervise system development, design policy frameworks, analyse cost variances, develop improvement plans, consolidate results for insightful forecasting, lead inventory risk assessments, validate capital investments, and partner with operational leaders on transformation projects.

The package includes base salary + guaranteed bonus + provident fund

  • Review, analyse, and interpret comprehensive financial and budgetary reports to ensure accurate representation of plant performance.
  • Direct all aspects of accounting operations while overseeing the preparation of annual financial forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Supervise the development of robust financial accounting systems required to maintain compliance with reporting requirements and best practices.
  • Design and oversee the execution of policies and standard operating procedures that promote transparency and cost visibility across the plant.
  • Analyse variances between actual results and standard costs, providing actionable advice for construction projects and process improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and track financial improvement plans in partnership with operations teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Consolidate and analyse actual results alongside forecasts, delivering variance analysis and insights on gross margin, productivity, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team responsible for analysing inventory risk, material variances, standards analysis, purchase price variances (PPV), subcontracts, annual re-costing, and stocktaking activities.
  • Review Capital Equipment Requests (CER) to approve investments while preparing financial validation documents and following up on capital expenditure projects.
  • Partner with operations leaders to support transformation initiatives by providing sound financial analysis, scenario modelling, and decision support.

  • Deep business acumen with thorough understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing environments enables you to share valuable insights across teams.
