Regional Head of Accounting and Finance

A leading multinational organisation is seeking a Head of Accounting & Finance APAC to lead its regional finance function based in Bangkok. This strategic leadership role will oversee accounting, financial reporting, governance, compliance, and business partnering across multiple Asia Pacific markets while supporting senior leadership in driving business performance, operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and finance function across multiple APAC entities.
• Oversee statutory reporting, financial statements, month end and year end closing, and IFRS compliance.
• Ensure strong governance across accounting, tax, treasury, audit, and internal controls.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial planning, and working capital performance.
• Partner with senior business leaders to provide commercial insights and strategic financial recommendations.
• Lead regional shared services operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardise processes.
• Support regional business expansion, finance transformation, and investment initiatives.
• Develop and lead regional finance teams while fostering a collaborative, high performing culture.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance requirements across multiple APAC countries.

About You

The successful candidate will bring:

• CPA qualification is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in accounting, finance, audit, and financial controlling within multinational organisations.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, taxation, treasury, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proven regional APAC finance leadership experience across multiple countries.
• Experience overseeing shared services and finance transformation projects.
• SAP experience is highly desirable together with advanced Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills.
• Manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or B2B multinational experience will be highly regarded.
