Finance Controller (Manufacturing | All Nationalities)

A leading multinational manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead strategic finance and FP&A operations for its Thailand business. This is a key leadership role partnering closely with regional stakeholders to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and business growth across a complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the General Manager and leadership team to support strategic decision making
• Deliver financial insights, business analysis, and scenario modelling to support growth initiatives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning activities
• Support new business quotations, project launches, and investment evaluations to ensure sustainable profitability
• Oversee management reporting and ensure compliance with corporate policies and US GAAP
• Drive operational productivity and profitability improvement initiatives
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management
• Maintain strong internal controls and SOX compliance environment
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and cross functional teams to improve overall business performance
• Lead finance transformation and automation initiatives across FP&A processes
• Improve reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities through technology and process enhancement
• Support implementation of transfer pricing models and tax optimisation initiatives
• Establish scalable finance procedures and best practice governance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in FP&A / commercial finance within multinational manufacturing businesses
• Proven experience leading finance teams in a complex environment
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
• Exposure to finance automation, RPA, AI, or process improvement initiatives is highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix and regional organisation
