Financial Accountant (work remotely-THB100K)

A renowned global travel organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This exciting opportunity allows you to work remotely while supporting financial accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance for Thailand and other international markets. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting expertise, comprehensive knowledge of Thai tax regulations, and experience in multinational finance environments.

What you'll do:

• Ensure compliance with Thai tax and regulatory requirements, including statutory filings.
• Support tax, audit, and statutory reporting across additional international jurisdictions by working closely with external auditors and advisors.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.
• Reconcile Thai GAAP with IFRS standards by identifying and documenting accounting differences.
• Manage accounting activities across multiple legal entities, jurisdictions, and currencies with precision and attention to detail.
• Strengthen financial controls by improving processes and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of financial tasks while fostering a supportive team environment.

What you bring:

• Qualified Accountant with ACCA or CPA is a plus for this position.
• Extensive experience as a Financial Accountant within a global or multinational organisation is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Thai GAAP with proven experience managing reconciliations between local statutory reporting and group standards is necessary.
• Experience working across multi-currency environments involving multiple legal entities is important for success.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with global teams.
