Accounting Manager (MNC Trading)

As an Accounting Manager based in Bangkok, you will play a central role in managing the organisation’s financial processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing monthly book closures, preparing comprehensive management reports aligned with group timetables, and ensuring all financial transactions comply with international standards such as IFRS.

The pacakge includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund

• Oversee the monthly closing of accounting books, ensuring all entries are accurate and completed within established timelines while maintaining high standards of internal control.
• Prepare detailed management reports such as GPS, BCS, and Working Capital reports, submitting them according to group schedules and requirements.
• Ensure depreciation and provisions are properly accounted for in line with IFRS and company policies, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain accuracy in all accounting procedures by implementing robust internal controls that safeguard financial data and support audit readiness.
• Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts in accordance with current legislation and accounting standards, coordinating year-end audits and liaising with tax authorities as needed.
• Manage the preparation of income tax, withholding tax, and VAT filings in compliance with local laws and regulations, ensuring timely submission and adherence to best practices.
• Supervise daily operations within the accounting function including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset administration to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review balance sheet accounts regularly, performing reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate/Regional Accounting teams as well as local management to facilitate clear communication and effective problem-solving across departments.
• Support ongoing process improvements by identifying areas for efficiency gains within accounting operations and participating in relevant training sessions.
