Accounting Manager

A leading global provider of AI-driven solutions for smart cities and securityis seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their Bangkok office. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, accurate reporting, and seamless consolidation functions.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate processing and recording of daily financial transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payments, and receipts within the accounting system while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls as well as Thai accounting standards.
• Generate invoices, track collections efficiently, support credit control processes to optimise receivables, and ensure supplier invoice processing aligns with Thai tax regulations.
• Support timely preparation and submission of VAT, WHT, BOI filings along with related statutory documentation; assist in compiling data for semi-annual BOI submissions.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and banks to ensure smooth payment processing; resolve queries promptly while assisting with periodic financial reports and reconciliations for management review.
• Monitor project financial progress against approved budgets by tracking revenue recognition milestones, cost commitments, billing schedules; prepare project-level P&L reports and variance analysis while flagging risks such as cost overruns or deferred income.
• Work closely with the accounting team to complete month-end/year-end close activities on schedule including accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations; act as liaison between Finance & Accounts function and other business units to align financial data.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPD requirements must be met
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance roles including proven team management capabilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards (TFRS), financial reporting practices, and Thai tax laws
• Excellent analytical skills combined with strong negotiation abilities enable effective problem resolution across complex scenarios.
• Effective communication skills—both written/spoken—in Thai & English are mandatory
