Finance Manager

What you'll do:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, fixed assets tracking, inventory accounting, and tax compliance to ensure accurate financial data.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant standards such as IFRS or GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes by coordinating with internal teams to guarantee completeness and accuracy of reported figures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls designed to safeguard company assets while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements within the accounting function by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of systems.
• Support with comprehensive budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial reports that inform strategic decision-making.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting roles with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead accounting teams effectively while driving process improvements or system upgrades during periods of organisational change.
• Deep technical expertise in accounting principles, tax regulations, inventory costing methods, and financial reporting requirements is essential.
• Excellent communication skills enabling you to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
