Finance Manager

A leading global professional services organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the finance function for Thailand, playing a pivotal role in supporting the wider South-East Asia region. What you'll do:

• Oversee end-to-end financial accounting processes for Thailand, including month-end closing activities such as journal adjustments, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and revenue recognition reports.
• Prepare and submit monthly management accounts along with related schedules for group reporting purposes, presenting results and clarifying details to country or regional business leaders when required.
• Examine client invoices and credit notes with careful attention to values, collection timelines, associated costs in earning revenue, potential accruals, and deferrals of income.
• Manage the filing of tax returns, collaborating closely with tax advisors to finalise computations and ensure timely submission of necessary tax returns.
• Interact with external auditors during interim and annual audits by providing information, schedules, explanations, and driving efficiencies from finance service providers to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, monitoring expense utilisation run rates, submitting monthly P&L forecasts, overseeing timesheet and payroll cost monitoring activities.
• Prepare weekly cash flow statements while aligning strategies with business teams and credit control teams based on directives from senior management.
• Act as the finance systems champion and subject matter expert for business teams across South-East Asia, offering guidance on system usage and best practices.

What you bring:

• Bachelor of Accounting (CPA is a plus)
• At least 10 years of prior experience working in finance roles
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential for effective communication within international teams
• Resourcefulness in managing daily tasks combined with resilience when handling challenging situations ensures you remain reliable under pressure.
