What you'll do:

• Lead the complete month-end closing process with precision, ensuring all financial statements are prepared accurately and submitted within agreed timelines.
• Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports that provide clear insights into business performance against budget and prior periods.
• Deliver comprehensive variance analysis to highlight key differences from budgeted figures and previous periods, supporting informed decision-making.
• Submit detailed reporting packs to group finance teams while maintaining audit-ready documentation for compliance purposes.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with disciplined credit control measures to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Monitor AR aging closely and enforce collection discipline to maintain healthy cash flow throughout the business.
• Maintain bank reconciliations and develop robust cash flow forecasting models that safeguard cash integrity and minimise leakage risks.
• Enforce payment approval thresholds across departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and governance standards.
• Provide structured margin visibility for restaurant operations by monitoring weekly food costs, reviewing purchasing patterns, supporting procurement contract reviews, and ensuring disciplined inventory cycle counts.
• Support annual budgeting processes in collaboration with general management by providing rolling forecast updates, scenario modelling, and cost planning.

What you bring:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• 10 years of accounting experience with proven capability in managing complex financial operations within the hospitality industry
• strong Excel skills paired with analytical abilities that enable you to deliver clear variance analysis against budgets and prior periods
• fluent in English
