Accounting Manager (Property Leasing / Service)

As an Accounting Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire spectrum of accounting activities for a thriving property-focused organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in line with both local regulations and company standards.
The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable processes, fixed assets tracking, and month-end as well as year-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and management reports that comply with TFRS and internal company policies, supporting informed decision-making at all levels.
- Monitor cash flow activities, perform reconciliations, and review financial transactions to guarantee completeness and reliability of all records.
- Maintain meticulous accounting documentation and support materials to facilitate audits and statutory reporting requirements.
- Manage revenue recognition processes specific to leasing or property business operations, ensuring accurate receivables tracking and timely collection performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies or collection issues efficiently while maintaining positive interdepartmental relationships.
- Ensure full compliance with Thai accounting standards, tax regulations, VAT, withholding tax obligations, and statutory filings by managing deadlines and liaising with external auditors or regulatory authorities as needed.
- Lead annual audit preparations, support statutory reporting cycles, and collaborate with tax consultants during assessments or reviews.
- Develop robust internal control procedures aimed at minimising financial risk while reviewing workflows for operational efficiency gains.
- Participate actively in ERP implementation projects or system upgrades to enhance automation capabilities within the finance department.
What you bring:
To excel as an Accounting Manager in this organisation, you should bring extensive experience gained from senior-level positions within the accounting field—ideally within property or leasing sectors where familiarity with industry-specific practices is invaluable. Your academic credentials should include at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related disciplines; further postgraduate qualifications would strengthen your profile even more. - A minimum of 10–12 years’ experience in accounting roles with at least 5 years spent managing teams within similar environments is essential for success.
- Proven background working within property, real estate or leasing businesses is highly preferred due to the specialised nature of revenue recognition involved.
- Comprehensive understanding of TFRS (Thai Financial Reporting Standards), Thai tax regulations including VAT/withholding tax compliance is necessary for this position.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing financial closings, coordinating audits with external parties, and handling complex tax matters is expected from applicants.
- Advanced proficiency using ERP systems alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills will enable you to contribute effectively to process automation projects.
