Senior Manager - Finance & Accounting (Manufacturing)
A well-established international manufacturing organisation in Thailand is seeking a Senior Manager for Accounting and Finance (x1 vacancy) to join their team. This role offers you the opportunity to lead a dedicated finance function, partnering closely with management and operations to drive business success.
As Senior Manager Accounting and Finance Manufacturing based in Thailand, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing all core accounting functions from ledger management to tax compliance. You will ensure that financial reporting is both timely and accurate while maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Inventory Accounting, ensuring every process meets high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities while preparing comprehensive financial statements and management reports in accordance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).
- Manage statutory reporting requirements, tax compliance obligations, and coordinate external audits by liaising with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and relevant government agencies.
- Supervise standard costing processes, inventory valuation methods, bill of materials reviews, and detailed manufacturing cost analysis to support operational efficiency.
- Analyse production variances such as material consumption rates, labour efficiency metrics, and manufacturing overheads to provide actionable insights for cost optimisation.
- Monitor inventory accuracy rigorously and support annual physical stock counts to maintain integrity in financial records.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities for improving manufacturing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Lead budgeting exercises, forecasting initiatives, and financial planning activities that underpin strategic business decisions.
- Perform thorough financial and operational analyses to support investment evaluations and capital expenditure assessments.
- Strengthen internal controls by ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies while driving process improvements through automation initiatives; optimise ERP utilisation for enhanced reporting efficiency.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly advantageous for this position.
- A minimum of ten years’ progressive experience in Accounting & Finance roles with at least three to five years spent in managerial capacities within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical accounting knowledge coupled with practical experience managing complex accounting operations.
- Proven track record in financial reporting under Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), cost accounting methodologies including standard costing practices.
- Extensive experience handling inventory accounting processes as well as budgeting and forecasting activities that support strategic planning.
- Solid understanding of tax compliance requirements along with statutory reporting obligations relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Expertise in strengthening internal controls through process improvement initiatives; familiarity with risk management principles is desirable.
- Advanced proficiency using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics; ability to optimise system utilisation for reporting purposes.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with effective stakeholder management abilities; capable of building trust-based relationships across departments.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills enabling you to mentor team members while fostering an inclusive culture focused on knowledge sharing.
