This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape financial strategy, drive business performance, and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board. As Group CFO, you will oversee all aspects of finance across a diverse group structure, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and value creation.

As Group Chief Financial Officer based in Bangkok for this leading SET-listed organisation, you will play an instrumental role in shaping both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. Your remit will span every aspect of group-wide finance: from overseeing core functions like accounting and FP&A to spearheading major transformation projects that modernise processes through automation and digitalisation

The package is attractive + performance bonus

  • Oversee all finance functions across the group including financial accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury and cash management, tax compliance, internal controls, risk management, investor relations (as applicable), corporate finance activities, and strategic projects.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors by delivering commercial insights and actionable financial recommendations that support business growth and long-term value creation.
  • Drive business performance through comprehensive financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, KPI management, and performance reporting to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with Business Unit Heads and cross-functional leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, assess investment opportunities, and identify operational improvements that enhance overall group performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with SET, SEC, IFRS/TFRS regulations while upholding strong corporate governance standards and maintaining rigorous internal control frameworks throughout the organisation.
  • Lead fundraising efforts including managing banking relationships, optimising capital structure, overseeing M&A activities when required, and executing other strategic finance initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models and detailed business cases to support investment decisions as well as inform strategic planning processes across multiple business units.
  • Champion finance transformation by driving process improvement initiatives focused on automation, digitalisation, data-driven decision-making capabilities, and best-in-class reporting systems.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing finance team by fostering collaboration across multiple functions within a complex matrix environment while promoting continuous learning and professional development.
  • Present clear financial performance updates along with strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee members, investors, and other external stakeholders.

What you bring:

To excel as Group Chief Financial Officer in this prestigious setting you will bring an impressive track record of senior-level experience gained within listed companies—ideally those operating in complex matrix structures. Your background should reflect deep technical proficiency across all core areas of finance combined with proven capability in developing high-performing teams who thrive on collaboration. You are adept at translating intricate numbers into meaningful insights that guide executive decision-making while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards. Your interpersonal strengths allow you to build trust quickly among stakeholders at every level—from board members through to operational teams—while your analytical approach ensures no detail is overlooked when it comes to measuring performance or identifying new opportunities for value creation. Fluency in both Thai and English is crucial given the need for effective communication across local and international forums.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; advanced qualifications such as CPA, CFA or MBA are highly advantageous for this position.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles including significant tenure as a senior executive or CFO within a listed company environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise across key areas such as financial accounting principles (IFRS/TFRS), FP&A methodologies, treasury operations management strategies, corporate finance transactions including M&A activity oversight plus comprehensive financial reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution while maintaining commercial acumen that translates complex financial insights into practical business decisions.
  • Track record of successful partnership with executive leadership teams where influencing business strategy was critical to achieving organisational goals.
  • Experience leading large-scale finance teams within complex multi-business or matrix organisations where cross-functional collaboration was vital for success.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets dynamics including investor expectations plus listed company governance requirements under relevant regulatory frameworks (SET/SEC).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills demonstrated by influencing senior executives effectively while leading cross-functional collaboration on major projects or initiatives.
  • Highly analytical mindset with strong focus on performance measurement techniques designed to maximise value creation across all levels of the organisation.
  • Outstanding communication abilities in both Thai and English enabling clear presentation of complex information to diverse audiences including boards or external stakeholders.
