Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Medical Science Liaison in Oncology to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal colleagues, playing a pivotal role in local medical activities for new product launches. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing Medical Thought Lead Planning and Engagement, providing scientific information to stakeholders, and supporting various medical activities. What you'll do:
As a Medical Science Liaison in Oncology, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of oncology treatment. Your primary responsibility will be to foster relationships with HCPs, KOLs, and internal colleagues, ensuring effective collaboration on new product launches. You will also be tasked with developing Medical Thought Lead Planning and Engagement strategies that align with our client's vision. Your expertise will be vital in creating the medical affairs strategic plan, providing scientific information to stakeholders, supporting various medical activities, presenting clinical trial data, cooperating with cross-functional teams, and supporting trials. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for oncology research, and a desire to make a significant impact on patient care.
Collaborate with HCPs, KOLs and internal colleagues to conduct local medical activity for new product launches
Develop Medical Thought Lead Planning and Engagement strategies
Create the medical affairs strategic plan and provide scientific information to both internal and external stakeholders
Support and coordinate the conduct of various medical activities such as advisory board meetings, scientific exchange meetings, sponsorship events, and medical educational programs
Provide medical information and respond to medical inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
Present pivotal clinical trial data and discuss overall strategy with KOLs
Cooperate with cross-functional teams by delivering science-based information
Support registration trials, post-marketing trials, and investigator-initiated studies
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Medical Science Liaison in Oncology role will bring a wealth of experience from the healthcare industry, specifically within oncology research. You will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with HCPs and KOLs, and a demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans for medical affairs. Your experience in conducting or supporting clinical trials will be invaluable, as will your ability to communicate complex scientific information to a variety of stakeholders. Your collaborative nature will enable you to work effectively within cross-functional teams, and your experience in supporting various types of trials will be crucial to your success in this role.
Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar role within the healthcare industry
Strong knowledge of oncology research and treatments
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with HCPs and KOLs
Ability to develop strategic plans for medical affairs
Experience in conducting or supporting clinical trials
Strong communication skills for providing scientific information to stakeholders
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Experience in supporting registration trials, post-marketing trials, and investigator-initiated studies
