What you’ll do:
Due to excellent results, the Commodity Manager will be supporting the plant in managing indirect spending focusing on MRO, Capex, energy services and be the governor for procurement compliance and policies. This role offers competitive salary and benefits.
To lead the procurement activities focusing on plant operations and energy in Thailand, ensuring that this aligns to the global and regional procurement and business strategies
Responsible for creating and monitoring purchase orders as assigned. Ensuring requisitions are processed for procurement of materials/goods, services and/or supplies in a timely manner
Directly responsible for the purchase of MRO, Spare Part, Capex, Energy, and other assigned goods & services required for the organisation. Including non-inventory related items as well as inventoried accessories and miscellaneous items
Maintain databases, follow up with other departments and suppliers to tracking and document materials purchased
Localize the Global Procurement Procedures and Policies
Identify opportunities/efficiencies and assist with implementation for transaction processes, ensure one way of working
Resolve local buying issues, this may require a collaborative approach with appropriate parties (e.g., category manager, maintenance manager, stores coordinator and supplier)
What you bring:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred
Min eight years’ experience in manufacturing environment – Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Heavy Industry, value spending min 300 MB.
Strong in direct procurement activity with knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX/MRO/Sparepart
Good command of spoken and written English
SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
