What you'll do:
As a Regional Indirect Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Southeast Asia's spend for the Indirect & Equipment category. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, developing, and implementing sourcing strategies, applying Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tools, supporting business units across countries for lower delivered costs, evaluating vendor reliability, engaging supplier contacts for process improvement plans, assembling contracts, and working closely with the Supply Chain team on operational tasks. Your ability to lead a team across Southeast Asia will be crucial in this role.
Identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies and savings projects
Apply Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tools and skills to execute sourcing initiatives
Support all Business unit (for Equipment) and Supply Chain (for Indirect) across country for lower delivered cost through TDC model and savings initiatives
Collaborate to implement in a specialty area such as compliance, systems and procure to pay process with compliance, system and procure team
Evaluate vendor reliability and follow up on any problems regarding the use of purchased materials
Engage supplier contacts and internal stakeholders in development and execution of process improvement plans
Assemble contracts and implement supply positions to ensure security of supply and achievement of procurement goals
Work closely with Supply Chain team on operation task and optimisation
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Regional Indirect Procurement Manager position brings a wealth of experience, with a minimum of six to eight years in the field, including five years of procurement experience and proven leadership skills. You will have a deep understanding of sourcing and procurement tactics & strategies, as well as an ability to 'read' the market. Your strong leadership capabilities, talent in negotiations and networking, aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers will be key to your success in this role. Excellent English language skills, both oral and written, are essential, as is a Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, engineering, chemistry, or supply chain management.
Minimum six to eight years work experience, thereof five years of procurement experience with experiences in leading team
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement tactics & strategies as well as a skill in “reading” the market
Strong leadership capabilities, talent in negotiations and networking
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Very good English language skills both oral and written
Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, engineering, chemistry, supply chain management
