What you'll do:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate and commercial matters to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, ensuring all guidance is clear, practical, and tailored to client needs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts including those related to M&A, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
• Support clients through the full lifecycle of M&A transactions by conducting due diligence, preparing transaction documents, coordinating with relevant parties, and managing post-closing matters.
• Advise on structuring joint venture arrangements by identifying key legal risks, drafting necessary documentation, and facilitating smooth collaboration between stakeholders.
• Assist with regulatory compliance issues by interpreting Thai laws and regulations relevant to corporate operations, providing timely updates on legislative changes affecting clients’ businesses.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver integrated solutions that address complex client challenges in an efficient manner.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to build strong relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and understanding of business objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in Thai corporate law to ensure advice remains current and commercially relevant.

What you bring:

• Hold a valid Thai legal qualification with between 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience gained at reputable law firms.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in handling corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, or similar commercial projects within Thailand.
• Exhibit strong drafting skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise contracts tailored to each client’s unique requirements while mitigating potential risks.
• Possess excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal in Thai and English.
• Showcase logical thinking skills that allow you to analyse complex legal issues methodically while offering practical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Display eagerness to learn about new areas of law or unfamiliar industries as part of your ongoing professional development journey.
