Internal Auditor – Asia Pacific Region (180K) - Bangna

A leading multinational is hiring an Internal Auditor to oversee audits, risk management, and compliance across 11 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Based in Bangkok, this role provides regional exposure, cross-cultural collaboration, and the opportunity to strengthen governance in a dynamic multinational environment.

Detailed Job Description

• Conduct internal audits across multiple APAC entities in line with global internal audit standards.

• Plan and coordinate audit scope, timelines, and resources with local and regional stakeholders.

• Evaluate risk management frameworks and strengthen internal control systems (ICS).

• Review compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.

• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management, supporting knowledge-sharing across APAC.

• Manage regular, follow-up, and ad-hoc audits while monitoring implementation of action plans.

• Collaborate with external auditors and act as a key liaison for audit-related matters in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering.

• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in internal audit, compliance, or governance within a multinational company.

• Proven regional working experience across Asia Pacific markets is essential.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional Asian languages a plus.

• Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

• Ability to work independently in a matrix, multicultural environment with diverse stakeholders.

• Open to expatriates with strong international audit and compliance experience.
