A client is seeking a Sales Director to oversee and elevate retail sales performance across all brands nationwide. What you'll do:

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with organisational goals and drive revenue growth across all retail outlets nationwide.
  • Oversee daily operations of the sales department, ensuring seamless execution of plans and adherence to company standards at every location.
  • Motivate, mentor, and support sales teams to foster a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for expansion or improvement within the retail landscape.
  • Establish clear sales targets for teams and individuals while providing ongoing feedback and coaching to help them succeed.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and customer experience.
  • Analyse sales data regularly to assess progress towards targets, adjusting strategies as needed to maximise results.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, especially high-net-worth individuals, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.

What you bring:

  • At least 10 years’ proven experience in retail sales management with a track record of delivering results in large-scale operations.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior management position overseeing multiple teams or locations within the retail sector.
  • Background in the jewellery industry or luxury goods market is highly desirable due to the unique nature of products and clientele involved.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate diverse teams towards shared goals while nurturing individual strengths.
  • Strong analytical abilities enabling you to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing effective sales plans that align with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—allowing you to engage persuasively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing relationships with high-net-worth customers or VIP clients is advantageous for this role.
