What you'll do:
As Head of Trade - Retail, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's retail division. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a group-wide own brand strategy that aligns with the company's ambitious growth objectives. You will also oversee new product development from ideation through to final launch, ensuring each step is strategically planned and executed. Additionally, you will manage the comprehensive marketing activation of various brands under your care. This role requires strong collaboration skills as you will work closely with different banners and departments to create a unified strategic direction that maximises resources and lowers costs.
- Drive and execute a group-level own brand strategy aligned with ambitious company objectives.
- Lead strategic planning and oversee end-to-end new product development—from concept to launch.
- Manage full-scale brand marketing initiatives to ensure strong market presence.
- Align efforts across banners and departments to establish a unified own brand direction.
- Optimize scale, sales volume, and internal resources to reduce cost of goods.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to accelerate growth, market share, and profitability of own/private brands across the group.
