Our client is seeking a dedicated Heart Recovery Clinical Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive patient outcomes and utilise best practices, customer education, and medical staff interaction for new and existing accounts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting the cost-effectiveness proposition and vision of heart recovery for patients who may benefit from Impella.

This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for patients, excellent planning and organisation skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

What you'll do:

As a Heart Recovery Clinical Specialist, your role will be pivotal in driving patient outcomes through innovative algorithms, best practices, comprehensive customer education, and effective medical staff interaction. You will provide on-site support for Impella implantation, patient management, and explantation. Your ability to build meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders will be key in understanding local dynamics and addressing barriers of adoption. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the planning and implementation of various clinical education & commercial programs that align with our mission of increasing education, awareness, and adoption of hemodynamic support.

  • Drive patient outcomes and utilization through algorithm, best practices, customer education and medical staff interaction for new and existing accounts.
  • On Site Support of Impella implantation, patient management and explantation.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders (IC, CTS, HF, ICU) to understand and identify local dynamics and address barriers of adoption.
  • Support the planning and implementation of various clinical education (trainings, workshops etc) & commercial programs (tradeshows, symposiums, dinner programs etc).
  • Market products directly to hospitals by organizing structured appointments & meetings with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Heart Failure Specialists, Purchasing and Administration staff.
  • Identify and open new sites using structured program approach and launch protocol/best practices.
  • Achieve Patient OP from launching new sites and adoption in existing sites.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Heart Recovery Clinical Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in selling new therapy to multiple stakeholders, coupled with the ability to articulate cost-effectiveness arguments with a strong passion for patients. A Bachelor of Science in a health care discipline is preferred, along with 5+ years of overall experience in the healthcare setting within the device/pharma industry or hospital setting. The successful candidate will have a background working as a clinical nurse, cath lab nurse, perfusionist, or Cardiac OR Nurse. Fluency in English and Thai language is required, along with high interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and excellent planning and organisation skills.

  • Experience selling in new therapy to multiple stakeholders.
  • Articulating cost-effectiveness arguments with strong passion for patients.
  • Bachelor of Science in a health care discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years overall experience in the healthcare setting within device/pharma industry or hospital setting.
  • 3+ years of experience working on an Interventional Cardiology Medical Device Commercial Team.
  • Background working as a clinical nurse, cath lab nurse, perfusionist, Cardiac OR Nurse.
  • Relationship with Interventional Cardiologists, CT Surgeon, Intensivist, Heart Failure Specialists preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Thai language.
  • Good Level of clinical skills preferably medically trained to technician or nurse level.
  • High interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Willingness to work on-call.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
