Storage & Procurement Manager (upper central Thailand)

Our client is a leading producer and distributor with over 40 years of expertise in their industry. They are currently seeking a Storage & Procurement Manager (x1 vacancy) to join their team in Kamphaeng Phet. This role is pivotal in planning, managing, and overseeing the procurement of goods and services necessary for business operations, as well as managing warehouse and material storage efficiently.

What you'll do:

As a Storage & Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless business operations by effectively managing procurement processes and warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include overseeing warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, monitor inventory reports, implement stock counts, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your ability to balance quality, cost, lead time, along with transparent and auditable procurement processes will be key to your success.

• Develop procurement strategies for both domestic and international sourcing
• Evaluate and select vendors/suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines
• Review and approve purchase orders in accordance with company policy
• Analyze procurement data to continuously improve procurement performance
• Plan and supervise receiving, storage, and material issuance operations
• Manage inventory accuracy to avoid stockouts or overstocking
• Monitor and analyze inventory reports
• Implement physical and cycle stock counts (monthly/annually)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in storage management

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Storage & Procurement Manager position brings a wealth of experience in procurement and warehouse management. You possess a solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management techniques, and inventory control principles. Your strong negotiation skills coupled with your analytical abilities make you adept at making strategic decisions that benefit the organisation. Your proven leadership skills enable you to effectively manage teams and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or related fields
• At least 5–7 years of experience in procurement and warehouse management
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong negotiation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
