An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Procurement Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Samut Prakan. This role is perfect for an expert who has extensive experience in sourcing and strategic procurement of raw materials, commodities, packaging materials, as well as indirect spend of CAPEX, MRO in the food or FMCG manufacturing environment. What you'll do:

As a Procurement Manager, your primary focus will be on driving strategic procurement across all categories to ensure cost efficiency while meeting stringent quality standards. You will be responsible for managing procurement categories, negotiating the best deals with key suppliers, and fostering healthy relationships with these suppliers. Your role will also involve ensuring that both materials and supplier quality align with company and global standards. Working closely with regulatory and technical teams, you will support new product development to market while adhering to changes in compliance, quality, legal, and regulatory standards. Collaborating with regional and global procurement teams will be crucial in developing strategic procurement of materials and driving cost savings.

  • Lead strategic procurement initiatives across all categories (raw materials, packaging materials, OPEX, CAPEX) to optimize cost efficiency and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Manage procurement categories by negotiating favourable terms with key suppliers and cultivating strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Ensure that both materials and suppliers consistently meet company and global quality standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and technical teams to facilitate new product development, ensure compliance with evolving standards, and address quality, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with regional and global procurement teams to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that drive cost savings.
  • Oversee the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend categories to support overall business objectives.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Procurement Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing industry. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in both direct and indirect procurement, you have demonstrated success in strategic procurement and negotiation. Your ability to influence both internal and external individuals sets you apart from others. Experience with SAP would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role; fluency in both English and Thai is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in both direct and indirect procurement in FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Proven achievement in strategic procurement, negotiation.
  • High ability to influence both internal and external people.
  • Experience in SAP is an advantage.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Thai.
