- Collaborate closely with diverse teams including Marketing, Medical, Sales, and external partners to ensure seamless alignment and agile execution of access plans.
- Enjoy a supportive workplace culture that values flexibility, professional growth, and meaningful contributions to both business success and improved patient outcomes.
What you'll do:
As a Market Access and Policy Manager, you will be entrusted with driving forward-thinking strategies that enable greater patient access to cutting-edge diagnostic solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating extensively with colleagues from Marketing, Medical, Sales, Finance, and beyond to develop robust market access plans tailored to the unique needs of Thailand’s healthcare landscape. You will engage regularly with payers, policy makers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), health authorities, insurance providers, and other influential partners—building trusted relationships that facilitate reimbursement pathways for high-value medical assets. By staying attuned to shifts in market drivers and competitive activity, you will provide invaluable insights that shape business planning while ensuring all activities are executed seamlessly in line with regional priorities. Your ability to identify new partnership opportunities—whether through digital health initiatives or collaborative care models—will further strengthen the organisation’s position as a leader in delivering innovative diagnostics. Success in this role requires not only technical acumen but also empathy, adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.
- Drive the development and execution of comprehensive market access strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to unlock patient access and shape healthcare policy.
- Provide critical insights and input into business planning processes by leveraging deep understanding of market dynamics, payer requirements, and policy trends.
- Support the alignment of tactical execution with Marketing, Sales, and Medical functions to ensure cohesive delivery of access objectives across all channels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key partners including health authorities, opinion leaders, insurance companies, and other relevant stakeholders to maximise reimbursement opportunities.
- Engage proactively with payers and policy makers to advocate for optimal access to high medical value diagnostic assays within the Thai healthcare system.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain high levels of market intelligence.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, financial institutions, IT companies, private insurers, and business alliances to expand the reach of innovative diagnostic solutions.
- Scout new opportunities for partnership initiatives such as telehealth programmes, patient coaching schemes, or novel access models that enhance the overall healthcare ecosystem.
- Ensure successful execution of all market access activities by aligning local strategies with broader APAC Access & Policy Value Stream priorities.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
What you bring:
To excel as a Market Access and Policy Manager you will bring substantial experience navigating the complexities of market access or health policy roles within life sciences—ideally having worked directly on projects involving diagnostics or pharmaceuticals in Thailand or comparable markets. Your background should reflect an ability to foster trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholder groups—from government agencies through private insurers—while advocating effectively for improved patient outcomes. You are adept at translating intricate regulatory frameworks into practical strategies that support business objectives without losing sight of ethical considerations or compliance standards. Your interpersonal strengths allow you not only to communicate persuasively but also listen empathetically—ensuring mutual understanding between customers’ needs and organisational capabilities. Adaptability is second nature: you thrive amid change by remaining organised yet open-minded when tackling challenges collaboratively. Above all else your passion for advancing healthcare access is matched by your dependability as a team player who values knowledge sharing as much as personal achievement.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing market access or health policy strategies within the pharmaceutical or diagnostics sector in Thailand or similar markets.
- Proven track record of building effective relationships with payers, policy makers, KOLs, health authorities, insurance companies, or other key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work seamlessly alongside Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales teams as well as external partners.
- Excellent communication abilities including professional presentation skills; able to influence decision-makers at all organisational levels through clear messaging and persuasive advocacy.
- Deep understanding of local healthcare systems—including reimbursement mechanisms for diagnostics—and awareness of current trends impacting patient access.
- Analytical mindset capable of synthesising complex market intelligence data into actionable insights that inform strategic planning processes.
- Organised yet flexible approach; able to adapt quickly when resolving business issues or responding to evolving priorities within a dynamic environment.
- Empathy-driven customer orientation; consistently seeks long-term benefits for both patients and organisational stakeholders through transparent communication.
- Self-motivation combined with agility; able to achieve results independently while contributing positively within team settings focused on shared goals.
- Commitment to upholding company policies while demonstrating integrity in all interactions with internal colleagues and external partners.
