HR Manager & HRBP
A leading global organisation is seeking a Human Resources Manager and Business Partner to join their Bangkok office. - Partner closely with commercial business teams to provide expert guidance on all aspects of human resources, ensuring alignment between people strategies and organisational goals.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities, leveraging your understanding of local employment law to attract and retain top talent while supporting hiring managers throughout the process.
- Manage outsourced payroll processing by coordinating with external providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll services for all staff members.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, providing support and advice on workplace issues while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead performance management initiatives by collaborating with managers to implement effective appraisal systems that drive engagement and development across the organisation.
- Support HR development programmes by identifying training needs, facilitating learning opportunities, and promoting continuous professional growth among employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour regulations and internal policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Thai employment law and best practice standards.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of HR policies that reflect both global standards and local requirements, ensuring consistency across the organisation.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees at all levels, addressing queries related to benefits, contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and other HR processes.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues to share insights, align on strategic priorities, and contribute to cross-border projects as required.
What you bring:
To excel as a Human Resources Manager and Business Partner in this role, you will bring substantial experience gained within multinational environments where local adaptation is key. Your deep knowledge of Thai labour law ensures that every aspect of HR administration meets regulatory standards while supporting organisational objectives. You have successfully managed recruitment campaigns using tried-and-tested approaches suited for the Thai market. Your previous roles have seen you act as a trusted advisor to commercial teams—helping them navigate complex people challenges through empathy and sound judgement. Experience overseeing outsourced payroll operations means you are comfortable balancing compliance demands with service quality expectations. You are adept at resolving employee relations issues sensitively while nurturing an atmosphere built on respect and cooperation. Your involvement in performance management has equipped you with tools for driving engagement through constructive feedback mechanisms. Additionally, your passion for learning translates into effective training initiatives that empower others. Above all else, your approachable manner allows you to connect easily with colleagues at every level—making you an invaluable resource within any team.
- Demonstrated experience in human resources management within a multinational or large-scale organisation operating locally in Thailand.
- Comprehensive understanding of Thai employment law with proven ability to apply legal requirements effectively in day-to-day HR operations.
- Track record of successful recruitment across various functions using traditional talent acquisition methods tailored for the local market.
- Experience acting as an HR business partner supporting commercial or client-facing teams within complex organisational structures.
- Familiarity with managing outsourced payroll providers including oversight of data accuracy, compliance checks, and issue resolution.
- Strong background in employee relations including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and promoting positive workplace culture.
- Expertise in designing or implementing performance management systems that encourage feedback-driven development for employees at all levels.
- Ability to develop or facilitate training programmes aimed at enhancing workforce capability while supporting individual career progression.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in English (spoken/written) alongside native-level fluency in Thai is highly desirable for effective communication across teams.
