What you'll do:

As Group Human Resources Assistant Manager, you will immerse yourself in a truly international environment where your ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds will be highly valued. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering with senior leaders to identify organisational challenges and develop tailored HR solutions that drive positive outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor for both local managers and country HR teams, ensuring they receive timely guidance on everything from policy interpretation to employee relations. By taking ownership of the employee lifecycle, you will help create an engaging workplace culture that supports personal growth and collective success. Your role will also see you bridging the gap between business needs and shared service delivery, ensuring every solution is aligned with strategic goals. In addition to core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to special projects related to expatriate support, health & safety compliance, and broader HR initiatives—making this position ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and impactful role.

  • Collaborate closely with business and functional leaders across various divisions to understand their unique organisational needs and provide insightful recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for divisional managers based in Thailand as well as country HR teams, ensuring seamless communication and support throughout the region.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle by providing comprehensive support from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring all processes are handled with care and attention to detail.
  • Serve as the vital link between customer requirements and HR shared services teams, facilitating effective solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Offer expert advice on performance management matters, including handling disciplinary issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Guide the development, interpretation, and implementation of work regulations and HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives by fostering open communication channels and developing retention strategies that nurture talent within the organisation.
  • Support employee development programmes by identifying growth opportunities and encouraging participation in relevant training activities.
  • Supervise payroll processing activities while managing two administrative staff members to guarantee accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
  • Contribute to additional responsibilities as required, such as supporting employees with international services, overseeing health & safety administration, and participating in key HR projects.
