Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) (x1 vacancy) to join their team in Bangkok. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning the HR strategy with the overall business objectives of the organisation.
What you'll do:
As an HRBP, you will serve as a trusted advisor to management, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives at the regional level. You will also take the lead in managing people operation tasks and HR-related projects. Drive regular performance management and coaching conversations to enhance feedback and ensure objectives achievement for the business and individuals
Monitor the implementation of performance improvement process with under performing employees and ensure advice, and counselling support is provided
Support management on the long-range planning, and budgeting process to ensure we have the people and capabilities required for our growth plans
Partner managers on talent reviews, succession planning and career development conversations and actions to ensure we have the right people and capabilities for the future
Identify compensation and benefits trends/shortfalls/opportunities and provide feedback and information on market/competition
Lead payroll outsourcing and attendance system implementation
Mitigate risk and be proactive with legal considerations relating to local employment law
Plan and organise company activities related to engagement and employer branding
Develop and implement effective HR policies that will support the strategic growth of the business
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Business Partner role brings a wealth of HR experience, with a deep understanding of all HR functions and best practices. You possess strong consultative, coaching, communication, and influence skills, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Administration, or Human Resources is preferable. Your thorough knowledge of labour legislation will be crucial in this role. Proficiency in SAP HR would be a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Thai are required.
Proven work experience as an HR business partner in regional role or global company
Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
Strong consultative, coaching, communication, and influence skills
Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Administration, Human Resources
Thorough knowledge of labour legislation
Proficiency in SAP HR is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills both English and Thai
