What you'll do:
As a Quality Food Safety Supervisor, you will be instrumental in safeguarding product integrity by overseeing critical aspects of site management systems certification renewals and regulatory compliance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing impactful training programmes that empower staff at every level to prioritise food safety and quality. You will collaborate closely with both local teams and global regulatory experts to ensure that evolving standards are understood and implemented effectively. By conducting detailed internal audits and organising regular traceability drills, you will help maintain robust systems capable of responding swiftly to any challenges. Your ability to develop efficient document control processes will further strengthen operational excellence. Through daily reviews and open communication with colleagues across departments, you will foster an environment where continuous improvement is not just encouraged but embedded into every aspect of production.
- Oversee the application and renewal processes for Site Management Systems, ISOs, GFSI certifications, as well as Halal and Kosher accreditations to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards.
- Design and implement programmes and activities aimed at fostering a robust food safety and quality culture throughout the facility.
- Initiate, develop, and deliver FSQR (Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory) training sessions to enhance awareness, efficiency, consistency, and compliance within all operational teams.
- Liaise regularly with global regulatory teams to stay updated on relevant food regulations and ensure timely communication of changes to all stakeholders in Thailand.
- Provide expert support to functional departments by advising on best practices related to food quality and safety during daily operations.
- Conduct thorough internal audits covering HACCP, GMP, GFSI, HALAL standards as well as supplier audits to maintain rigorous oversight of all processes.
- Organise mock traceability exercises and recall simulations to test the effectiveness of traceability systems and ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
- Develop and refine document control systems for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), enhancing their effectiveness in supporting related functions.
- Lead management review meetings focused on continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance framework.
- Facilitate daily food reviews, communicate findings clearly with area quality personnel, and drive targeted improvements based on results while ensuring QA budget adherence.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biochemistry or another closely related field is required for this position.
- Demonstrated experience of three to five years working within Quality Systems or Quality Assurance roles specifically in the food industry is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) as well as hands-on experience implementing Food Safety programmes such as GMP, HACCP, GFSI is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to conduct hygiene inspections along with GMP, HACCP, GFSI audits including those involving suppliers is necessary for success in this role.
- Competency in using computer applications relevant to documentation control and reporting is expected from applicants.
- Strong English language skills are needed for effective communication with global teams and regulatory bodies.
- Previous exposure to the food industry environment ensures familiarity with sector-specific challenges and best practices.
