What you'll do:
- Oversee all factory production units to achieve key targets in safety, quality, cost management, timely delivery, and employee morale by applying industry-leading methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive operating plans for the factory that include budget oversight, resource allocation optimisation, and ongoing cost efficiency improvements.
- Optimise capacity management and line balancing by analysing product mix, identifying production constraints, and adjusting shift patterns to maximise resource utilisation and service levels.
- Supervise maintenance activities for production equipment to guarantee reliability, availability, and extended operational life while minimising downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP standards, food safety protocols, workplace safety regulations, environmental requirements, and internal policies at every stage of production.
- Promote a culture where safety comes first and quality is embedded in every process by engaging employees at all levels and holding teams accountable for their contributions.
- Drive operational excellence through structured deployment of Kaizen, LEAN principles, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S workplace organisation techniques, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Champion process mastery by standardising systems across operations, eliminating inefficiencies or losses, optimising manpower usage through skill development initiatives, and enhancing overall process capability.
- Coach frontline managers and supervisors regularly to build their leadership skills while strengthening the succession pipeline for future organisational needs.
- Act as a central figure in cross-functional coordination with departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering Project teams (for new installations/upgrades), Quality Assurance, R&D Innovation teams, Safety officers, and Human Resources.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Food Science or a related discipline is required for this senior-level position.
- At least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing operations within the food or beverage sector is essential; candidates should have held senior plant management roles for at least 5 years.
- Proven track record in successfully leading cross-functional teams to improve overall factory performance using collaborative approaches.
- Fluency in Thai along with proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is necessary for effective communication across local and international teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing systems including preventive/predictive maintenance strategies as well as regulatory frameworks such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), food safety laws.
- Hands-on experience implementing LEAN principles (including Kaizen), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pillars such as Autonomous Maintenance (AM) & Planned Maintenance (PM), 5S workplace organisation methods plus RCA/A3 problem-solving tools.
- Strong command over production planning processes including performance metrics tracking and system standardisation across factory operations.
- Understanding of project lifecycles with demonstrated ability to represent user requirements during engineering project collaborations for new installations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing concepts—including ERP systems—is highly desirable though not mandatory; willingness to embrace technology-driven change is important.
- Exceptional leadership qualities demonstrated through coaching abilities; adept at developing people’s skills while fostering teamwork within diverse groups.
- Strategic thinker who remains calm under pressure; able to make responsible decisions quickly when faced with complex challenges or tight deadlines.
