Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning effective maintenance schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, as well as leading engineering projects from conception through completion. You will be instrumental in driving cost-effective solutions while upholding rigorous standards of quality and compliance.

  • Administer comprehensive plant preventive maintenance programmes, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Coordinate closely with Health & Safety teams to guarantee all activities adhere strictly to hazard assessments and regulatory requirements before commencement.
  • Lead construction projects as the primary project coordinator, managing relationships with contractors to deliver engineering solutions efficiently and safely.
  • Participate actively in developing departmental budgets for maintenance activities, monitoring performance to ensure costs remain within established guidelines.
  • Support the implementation of ISO9001 processes and contribute to quality management systems by aligning maintenance practices with international standards.
  • Drive energy conservation initiatives in line with Thai regulations, focusing on reducing or optimising both thermal and electrical consumption for greater sustainability.
  • Manage plant fixed costs related to labour and maintenance, ensuring financial targets are consistently met without compromising quality or safety.
  • Work collaboratively with Environment & Compliance departments to ensure full legislative compliance for site operations
  • Organise sub-contractor teams within the factory, reviewing all tasks to ensure strict adherence to regulations and company standards.

What you bring:

To excel as Maintenance Manager, you will bring extensive experience gained from similar roles within manufacturing environments where operational reliability is paramount. Your educational background equips you with strong technical foundations while your practical exposure ensures you can navigate the complexities of modern production facilities. You possess excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate harmoniously with colleagues from diverse backgrounds—whether supporting health & safety initiatives or liaising with external contractors. Your methodical approach means you are adept at balancing competing priorities such as budget constraints versus quality outcomes. A passion for nurturing talent is evident through your involvement in training programmes that empower technicians with new skills. Above all else, your unwavering commitment to upholding high standards of compliance—be it through ISO9001 processes or local legislation—sets you apart as a dependable leader who inspires trust throughout the organisation.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is essential for this position.
  • At least 5-10 years’ experience working within maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment is required to ensure familiarity with industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated background in Lean Manufacturing principles as well as hands-on experience servicing machinery and electrical systems is vital for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of both preventive and proactive maintenance concepts enables you to anticipate potential problems before they arise.
  • Excellent English communication skills are necessary for influencing stakeholders at all levels and collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Experience participating in or supporting ISO9001 implementation processes demonstrates your commitment to quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Engineering licences (electrical or mechanical) are preferred but not mandatory; however, willingness to obtain relevant certifications would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience delivering technical training or coaching sessions for technicians showcases your dedication to team development.
  • Familiarity with energy conservation initiatives under Thai regulations will enable you to drive sustainability efforts successfully.
