What you'll do:

As a Fund Manager based in Bangkok, you will play an integral role in shaping the success of multiple investment portfolios across equity and fixed-income markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve making informed decisions on asset allocation, conducting detailed macroeconomic analyses, executing trades, and performing rigorous research into equities and credits. You will also be responsible for managing foreign currency exposure and implementing effective risk controls. • Oversee the management of both equity and fixed-income portfolios with a particular focus on Fund of Fund and Feeder Fund strategies, ensuring optimal performance aligned with client objectives.
• Develop and implement both strategic and tactical asset allocation plans by analysing market trends and economic indicators to maximise returns while managing risk.
• Conduct comprehensive macroeconomic analysis to inform investment decisions and provide valuable insights for portfolio adjustments.
• Engage directly in trading transactions for managed funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Perform thorough equity and credit research as well as regular reviews to identify new investment opportunities and monitor existing holdings.
• Carry out foreign currency analysis alongside robust risk management practices to safeguard assets against market volatility.
• Exercise voting rights on behalf of funds under company management, representing the best interests of stakeholders at all times.
• Actively participate as a member of the Investment Committee, contributing your expertise to collective decision-making processes.
• Collaborate in the development of new products as well as enhancements to existing funds under management, driving innovation within the organisation.
• Support various administrative tasks related to fund management, maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operational workflows.

What you bring:

• Three to five years’ direct experience as a fund manager or relevant experience in equity research and analysis, economic research, credit analysis or investment banking equips you with essential industry insights.
• Possession of a valid fund manager licence is required; alternatively, successful completion of CFA Level 3 Exam or CISA Exam demonstrates your technical proficiency.
• A rational investment sense enables you to make sound decisions based on data-driven analysis rather than speculation.
• Excellent communication skills in English allow you to articulate complex ideas clearly when interacting with colleagues or stakeholders.
• Advanced computer literacy—especially proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, Hi-Portfolio, Bonanza Investment software—ensures you can leverage technology effectively in your daily work.
• The ability to perform coding is considered an advantage that can enhance efficiency in data analysis or process automation.
