What you'll do:
As Head of Selling Agent, you will play a vital part in managing partnerships with Asset Management Companies while overseeing the selection, promotion, and distribution of mutual funds through an established securities brokerage network. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying suitable mutual fund products based on market trends, negotiating co-marketing budgets with AMCs, designing educational initiatives for investors, and supporting the investment consultant team with up-to-date product insights. You will also coordinate cross-functional efforts between internal departments such as legal, compliance, marketing, and sales to ensure smooth execution of fund distribution strategies. By tracking key performance metrics and reporting actionable insights to senior management, you will help shape future business decisions while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. * Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) to negotiate fund distribution agreements that align with business objectives.
* Select mutual fund products that reflect the organisation’s investment strategy while responding to evolving market demand and investor needs.
* Coordinate with AMCs to secure marketing budget support and design joint promotional campaigns that maximise fund visibility.
* Monitor industry trends and analyse fund performance data to continuously refine the selection strategy for optimal results.
* Work alongside AMCs to create engaging marketing materials, investor education programmes, and sales support resources tailored for diverse audiences.
* Collaborate closely with the brokerage division to ensure effective communication channels for promoting selected funds within the network.
* Act as a liaison between AMCs and internal stakeholders to guarantee alignment on fund distribution strategies and shared goals.
* Provide insightful product training, fund updates, and marketing support to empower the investment consultant team in delivering exceptional client service.
* Foster a spirit of cooperation between internal teams and external partners to drive adoption of new funds and boost investor engagement.
* Ensure all fund selection and distribution activities comply fully with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations by working hand-in-hand with legal and compliance teams.

* Exceptional negotiation skills enabling you to secure advantageous agreements on behalf of the organisation while maintaining positive partner relations.
