The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting partners to transform and benefit from business growth. What you'll do:
As a Plant Controller, you will be instrumental in supporting the management team with budgeting and forecasting. You will align manufacturing resources against market demand, participate in continuous improvement programs, provide manufacturing variance analysis by product, ensure accurate inventory valuation for the business, monitor manufacturing control effectiveness and develop/execute improvement plans to assure accurate financial reporting. The package for this role includes attractive salary and bonus.
Support management team for budgeting and forecasting in terms of product and manufacturing cost with financial insight
Align manufacturing resources against market demand
Participate in continuous improvement programs
Provide manufacturing variance analysis by product
Ensure accurate inventory valuation for the business
Monitor manufacturing control effectiveness and develop/execute improvement plans to assure accurate financial reporting
Prepare and monitor site budget and forecast
Lead budget variance commentary and reporting
Target areas of expense overruns/inconsistencies and implement corrective measures
What you bring:
To succeed in this Plant Controller role, you must possess excellent English communication skills, strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor degree in Accounting with costing specialisation is a plus
At least seven years of experience in a manufacturing company specialised in product costing
Experience is setting and managing standard costing, analysis of variance and control manufacturing variance and take corrective measures
Experience in preparing and managing financial budget and forecast
Experience of working in well-established global multinationals with matrix reporting structures
Experience in data management and analysis, including use of business intelligence reporting and finance systems
Fluent in English both written and spoken
