Finance manager
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the financial activities of a dynamic organisation, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation of all financial reports, developing and managing financial plans and forecasts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, managing cash flow and forecasting, coordinating with internal audit teams and external auditors, and leading the accounting team. Your strategic thinking abilities will be crucial in this role as you navigate through complex financial scenarios.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Develop and manage financial plans and forecasts.
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial information and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Coordinate effectively with internal audit teams and external auditors.
- Lead the accounting team to ensure work is properly allocated and completed in a timely manner.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role will bring a wealth of accounting and financial management experience to the table. You should have at least 8 years' experience in similar roles, along with a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of accounting and financial management experience.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Creativity.
- High attention to detail.
