A rapidly expanding end-to-end manufacturer and distributor company is looking for a talented Accounting Manager (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for accounting and reporting functions. This position is required travelling between Surat Thani and Bangkok office.
What you'll do:
Reporting directly to Finance Director, as the accounting manager, you will be at the heart of financial operations, supporting business's sustainable growth, ensuring compliance and transparency across all operations. You will ensure our financial statements are accurate, complete, and comply with TFRS. The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund
Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure efficiency and compliance with TFRS
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting
Manage and perform account reconciliations and analyses to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Coordinate and prepare internal and statutory financial statements
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and implement accounting policies, coordination of systems and procedures, and the preparation of operating data and special reports as required
Review financial statements, expense reports, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures
Work closely with external auditors during annual audit processes
Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes
What you bring:
To success in this Accounting Manager role, you must possess extensive and strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices. The experience from Thai listed company would be added an advantage.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least three years in management role
Strong understanding of TFRS and experience with financial reporting requirements
Demonstrated experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Comfortable in travelling between Surat Thani and Bangkok from time to time (minimum 1 week per month)
