Head of Finance

Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to join their team in Bangkok, near BTS/MRT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and strategic direction to the finance team and support functions.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Finance, your role will be pivotal in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation.

• Lead and oversee the finance department along with key support functions, ensuring effective team management and performance
• Offer strategic financial insights and guidance to senior leadership teams across business units and country-level operations
• Oversee month-end closing activities and ensure sound cash flow and treasury management
• Analyze variances in revenue, operating expenses, and profitability against plans and forecasts to identify root causes
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Contribute to long-term business strategy through financial planning and input on service and project pricing
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal senior leaders and external stakeholders
• Monitor and enhance operational procedures across Finance, HR, and IT to ensure compliance and efficiency

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• At least 15 years of well-rounded experience across area such as controllership, advisory services, consulting, shared services, tax, accounting, and advisory services
• Relevant technical knowledge in designing and implementing key policies and processes, especially within finance and related support functions
• Proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and shareholders
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, planning, and financial support functions
• Solid understanding of local laws and contractual obligations relevant to finance and operations
