SAP Transportation and Security

Our client is seeking a dedicated SAP Transport and Security Specialist to join their dynamic team in Bangkok. This role offers the opportunity to work within an international environment, specifically within the consumer goods/retail industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability and security of the SAP landscape, making this role integral to the smooth operation of the business.

What you'll do:

As an SAP Transport and Security Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the stability and security of our client's SAP landscape. You will play a crucial role in coordinating technical controls, managing extra transport, coordinating external audits, and analyzing performance with the SAP Basis team. Your expertise will also be required in implementing stands for Online Service System (OSS) notes, maintaining printers and driver configurations, coordinating the creation of SAP users, maintaining roles using XITING solutions, and identifying potential risks. Your ability to define alternatives and solutions to reduce repetitive operations will be highly valued.

• Coordinate technical controls to avoid regression due to changes and transport cycle meetings
• Manage extra transport and coordinate external audits
• Analyze performance with SAP Basis team, manage weekly statistics
• Coordinate implementation of stands for Online Service System (OSS) notes, SAP upgrade with SAP Basis and SAP teams
• Maintain printers and driver’s configuration and documentation
• Coordinate creation of SAP users based on the tools available (transaction ZUAR)
• Maintain roles based on the tools available (XITING solutions)
• Identify potential risks and define alternatives, define solutions to reduce repetitive operations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this SAP Transport and Security Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in SAP Basis activities including transports, landscape monitoring. Your ability to search for and implement OSS notes will be essential for this role. A strong understanding of networking principles along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, you are known for your clear communication skills and open-minded approach. Fluency in English is necessary as you'll be working within an international environment. Experience in the retail business will be considered an asset.

• Proven experience in SAP Basis activities (transports, landscape, monitoring)
• Ability to search and implement Online Service System (OSS) notes
• Ability to analyse performance issues
• Networking knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Excellent communication skills with an open-minded approach
• Fluency in English language (oral/written)
• Experience in retail business is a plus
