• Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies that align with organisational objectives while fostering collaboration across departments
• Drive digital transformation initiatives by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Provide strategic direction on technology matters to senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor for all IT-related decisions
• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems operations to ensure high availability and optimal performance for mission-critical airline functions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within IT service management, focusing on reliability, responsiveness, and user experience
• Manage key aviation platforms such as Passenger Service Systems (PSS), Departure Control Systems (DCS), flight operations, and crew management systems to guarantee seamless integration across business functions.
• Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks and policies that protect sensitive data while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and data protection standards
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies to safeguard against potential disruptions or threats
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders from operations, commercial, and finance teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored technology solutions.
• Manage external vendors, partners, and IT service providers through careful procurement processes and contract negotiations to ensure quality delivery.
• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing IT team by promoting accountability, innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
• Administer IT budgets responsibly while maintaining governance frameworks that support transparency and sustainable growth.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• 10–15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Prior experience in aviation, airline, or travel industry preferred

• Proven experience in digital transformation and large-scale IT projects

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
