Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic digital initiatives within our organisation. This role will oversee large-scale technology and digital product projects, ensuring alignment between business, product, and engineering teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project governance, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of complex digital platforms and customer-facing applications that support the company’s long-term digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

• Lead and oversee the project management function across multiple technology and digital initiatives.

• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Digital Product & Platform Delivery

• Drive the delivery of digital platforms, mobile applications, and technology solutions.

• Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to execute product roadmap and key initiatives.

• Ensure smooth coordination between technical and business stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with senior leadership, product teams, engineering teams, and external partners.

• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders.

• Manage complex stakeholder environments and drive alignment across teams.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and delivery leads.

• Establish best practices for project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks.

• Promote strong collaboration across product, engineering, operations, and business teams.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Resolve project challenges and ensure effective problem-solving.

• Provide clear reporting and updates to leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in project management, technology delivery, or digital transformation.

• Proven experience managing large-scale digital or technology projects.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.

• Experience leading project teams or delivery organizations.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or modern product development practices.

Preferred Background

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or digital platform environments.

• Experience working with customer-facing digital products or platforms.

• Experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
