Country Information Security Officer

Our client is looking for Country Information Security Officer, report directly to the CIO and drive IT and OT security across the region within a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and govern security policies, standards, and controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS frameworks.
• Own cyber risk governance, including KPIs/KRIs, internal/external audits, and Board-level reporting.
• Embed security-by-design across digital, cloud, IT, and OT transformation initiatives.
• Oversee privacy and data protection compliance (PDPA, GDPR) in partnership with the DPO.
• Provide executive oversight of secure architectures across IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, and OT environments.
• Drive Zero Trust adoption across identity, network, endpoint, and data layers.
• Govern SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber crisis readiness.
• Ensure cyber resilience through robust backup, DR/BCP, and recovery capabilities.
• Build, scale, and lead high-performing cybersecurity teams while championing a security-first culture across the organization.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles in a regional or global environment.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, governance, and technologies (NIST, ISO, SIEM, EDR, cloud security).
• Strong track record in cyber risk management, incident response, and enterprise security governance.
• Proven executive leadership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and business leaders.
• Hands-on cybersecurity leadership experience in Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 strongly preferred
