What you'll do:
As a Security Engineer specialising in Proxy and Zscaler, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our client's cybersecurity defences. Your primary mission will be to ensure the business remains operational while enhancing its security posture. You will take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions that protect the entire group. Your collaborative approach will see you working closely with cross-functional teams, contributing significantly to creating a resilient and secure environment.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust security solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Ensure a resilient and secure environment
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure tools (proxies and reverse-proxies) to ensure secure and reliable access to corporate resources
- Implement configuration changes as required
- Provide timely expertise for incidents and requests related to remote access tools
- Maintain procedures for these tools
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, customers, and external strategic partners to deliver high-quality secure networks
- Engage with the Cyber Security team to develop security policies, protocols, and procedures
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Security Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience in the technology field. With at least five years' experience as a security engineer or architect or network engineer with hands-on experience in security solutions under your belt, you are ready to take on this challenging role. Your mandatory experience with Zscaler, McAfee, Imperva, F5 sets you apart from others. Your strong knowledge of networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions, coupled with your in-depth understanding of security protocols and principles, will be invaluable. Your knowledge of cloud security principles such as AWS or Azure and understanding of security systems including EPP and EDR, content filtering, authentication systems, and reverse proxies will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technology field
- At least five years of experience as a security engineer or architect or network engineer with hands-on experience in security solutions
- Experience with Zscaler, McAfee, Imperva, F5 is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions as well as Zero Trust approach
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles
- Knowledge of cloud security principles such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of security systems including EPP and EDR, content filtering, authentication systems, and reverse proxies
