Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating closely with various departments to ensure seamless operation of critical banking applications while proactively identifying areas for enhancement. You will champion best practices in IT governance by enforcing rigorous security standards across all domains.   • Oversee the regular maintenance and optimal functioning of all IT networks and infrastructure to guarantee uninterrupted banking operations.
  • Ensure that all systems and applications remain secure, stable, and compliant with internal policies as well as industry regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate annually with relevant departments to validate the effectiveness of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), ensuring operational resilience.
  • Supervise the management and upkeep of computers, workstations, peripherals, and related hardware throughout the organisation.
  • Lead IT training initiatives to ensure authorised users are proficient in hardware usage and application performance while adhering strictly to security protocols.
  • Monitor adherence to comprehensive IT Security Policies and 11 Domain IT Security Standards, overseeing data archiving, record-keeping, and backup procedures according to established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to monitor anti-virus protection across all devices, ensuring timely updates and legal software licensing compliance.
  • Direct IT support activities for troubleshooting technical issues promptly while administering key functions on security systems such as PABX, Access Control, and Surveillance Systems.
  • Guide subordinates by providing clear direction so they fulfil their responsibilities in line with employment conditions and organisational expectations.
  • Act as a consultant on IT matters for colleagues across departments while supporting business improvements through effective solutions.
