• Define and implement the organisation’s overarching data vision and strategy in close alignment with both business objectives and technology roadmaps.

• Collaborate closely with leaders from business, product, and engineering teams to embed data-informed decision-making throughout the company.
• Design, develop, and operate a robust, scalable data platform that supports seamless ingestion, transformation, storage, and governance of large-scale datasets.
• Establish frameworks to ensure reliability, quality assurance, security protocols, and compliance across all aspects of the organisation’s data systems.
• Champion the implementation of AIOps methodologies and automation tools to optimise operational efficiency while maintaining system performance at scale.
• Empower teams across the company by enabling self-service analytics through clear standards, accessible tools, and comprehensive guidelines.
• Oversee all aspects of data governance initiatives to ensure full compliance with PDPA, GDPR, and internal group standards while promoting responsible use of information assets.
• Promote ongoing research into emerging technologies in the field of data science to drive innovation that enhances business value.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for Head of Data brings extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams within large-scale environments where collaboration is key. Your background should include deep technical proficiency across cloud platforms combined with practical exposure to state-of-the-art tools used throughout the modern analytics stack. You are adept at navigating regulatory landscapes while ensuring robust governance structures are always maintained. Your ability to communicate effectively enables you to bridge gaps between business needs and technical execution—ensuring all voices are heard during critical decision-making processes. Above all else you are committed to fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every member feels valued for their unique perspective on solving complex challenges together.

• A minimum of ten years’ experience working within data-related fields coupled with at least five years spent in leadership roles overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated track record in successfully building high-performing teams as well as designing scalable enterprise-grade platforms for large organisations.
• Comprehensive expertise in modern data architecture principles including hands-on experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• In-depth familiarity with advanced technologies like Apache Iceberg or Data Lakehouse architectures alongside practical knowledge implementing AIOps solutions.
• Thorough understanding of industry-standard frameworks governing security protocols as well as regulatory requirements such as PDPA or GDPR.
• Proficiency using contemporary tools including Airflow for orchestration; Airbyte for integration; Kafka for streaming; dbt for transformation; BigQuery or Snowflake for warehousing; Tableau or Looker for visualisation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate complex concepts clearly while managing relationships with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Genuine enthusiasm for nurturing a culture where accessibility to insights empowers teams at every level within the organisation.
• Fluency in both English and Thai (written as well as spoken) ensuring effective communication across local teams.
