You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service delivery by proactively managing infrastructure projects, responding swiftly to critical incidents, and fostering strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting new school integrations by auditing existing systems and overseeing migrations to standardised platforms. By documenting processes meticulously and promoting best practices in service management through effective use of ServiceDesk tools, you will help create an environment where technology empowers learning communities. Your ability to coordinate upgrades with minimal disruption ensures that staff have access to reliable systems while adhering strictly to group policies on security and compliance.
- Design, implement, and manage both physical and virtual network infrastructures to ensure consistent performance and reliability across all sites.
- Maintain internal network security by overseeing firewall management, monitoring tools, web filtering systems, and producing regular safeguarding reports for compliance.
- Ensure all network infrastructure aligns with Group IT standards while integrating seamlessly with existing systems to support operational needs.
- Oversee the ongoing development of the regional IT network in line with strategic objectives, including expansion into new schools or facilities as required.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures across all locations to protect sensitive data and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Supervise daily IT operations by monitoring support tickets, ensuring timely responses, and upholding service level agreements (SLAs) for all users.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT operations within the Thailand/Vietnam region, providing dependable support to schools and offices.
- Collaborate closely with school teams, central support functions, and external vendors to resolve technical issues efficiently and enhance overall service quality.
- Manage IT assets including hardware inventories, server infrastructure, core services such as printing and backup solutions, ensuring optimal functionality at all times.
- Document IT procedures thoroughly to provide transparency for audits while supporting operational consistency across the region.
What you bring:
To excel as a Regional Information Technology Manager in this dynamic setting, you will bring substantial experience overseeing distributed IT environments where reliability and security are paramount. Your background should include not only technical proficiency but also a proven ability to nurture positive relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Your approachability will foster trust among school staff who rely on your guidance during system upgrades or troubleshooting sessions. A keen eye for detail ensures that documentation is always accurate—supporting audit readiness—and your collaborative mindset means you thrive when working alongside others towards shared goals. Your adaptability allows you to respond effectively during emergencies or unexpected challenges while maintaining focus on long-term strategic objectives such as capacity building or process optimisation.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments spanning multiple locations or business units within a large organisation.
- Comprehensive understanding of network architecture principles, system administration tasks, cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance models, and service management methodologies.
- Proven track record in vendor relationship management including procurement processes aligned with organisational standards for value and quality.
- Experience preparing budgets for regional IT operations while ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across diverse projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate technical concepts clearly with non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Fluency in both Thai and English is essential for effective communication within multicultural teams operating across borders.
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory), Cross Tenant Synchronization techniques, Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager), as well as HP Aruba networking solutions.
- Willingness to travel regularly between schools in Thailand and Vietnam as part of your commitment to providing responsive onsite support when needed.
