Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join a global technology-driven organization and play a key role in designing, building, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams across regions to deliver modern cloud platforms that support high availability, resilience, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud platforms on AWS, leveraging modern DevOps and automation practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to enable consistent and automated cloud provisioning.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) to support faster and more reliable software delivery.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using platforms such as ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes (K8s), and EKS.
• Monitor and maintain cloud environments using observability and monitoring tools to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements to enhance platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects and engineering teams to design scalable, resilient, and efficient cloud solutions.
• Support cloud cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with FinOps teams.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to the adoption of cloud standards, automation practices, and platform engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile (Scrum / SAFe) ceremonies to support collaboration and continuous delivery.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps practices to continuously enhance platform capabilities.

Key Competencies

• 5+ years of experience working with AWS cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure operations, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, system reliability, and platform operations.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving ability and effective collaboration with cross-functional and international teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills.
