Global DevOps Technical Lead

We are seeking an Strategic Global DevOps Technical Lead to drive the strategy, architecture, and operational excellence of our cloud platform. This role will lead DevOps practices, enable engineering teams, and ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.

The successful candidate will lead large-scale and business-critical initiatives, collaborating with international engineering teams across multiple regions to ensure successful delivery, scalability, and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps Engineers in an Agile environment, including leading and collaborating with international engineering teams across multiple countries
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence across distributed teams
• Work closely with development teams to align platform capabilities with product needs and contribute to defining the technical roadmap and technology direction
• Define and drive the Cloud and DevOps platform roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners and engineering stakeholders
• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), microservices, and serverless architectures
• Build and enhance cloud platform capabilities across AWS and Kubernetes environments
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes to improve engineering efficiency and platform reliability
• Establish strong observability and monitoring practices using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Support development teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices
• Define and maintain DevOps standards, security practices, and cloud cost optimization strategies (FinOps)
• Stay current with emerging cloud and DevOps technologies to continuously improve the platform
• Lead production troubleshooting, incident response, and operational improvements to ensure platform stability

Requirements

• at least 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• Proven experience working with international or distributed engineering teams
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible)
• Experience designing or supporting microservices and serverless architectures
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains such as GitLab CI, SonarQube, Nexus, and monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10, PCI-DSS)
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification required
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
