CTO

We are seeking a Thai hands-on CTO with a strong startup mindset and the professional maturity to work effectively with government and public-sector organizations. This role requires deep technical expertise, active involvement in system design and development, and the ability to lead teams while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on Technical Leadership

• Actively participate in system architecture, solution design, and hands-on development when required.

• Review code, guide technical decisions, and ensure high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

• Lead adoption of modern architectures, cloud platforms, and DevOps best practices.

2. Engineering & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineering, DevOps, and technical teams.

• Define engineering standards, development processes, and delivery best practices.

• Plan team structure, resource allocation, and technical roadmap to support business growth.

• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.

• Translate business and client requirements into clear technical solutions and architectures.

• Present technical concepts, system designs, and project progress to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clients.

• Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and technical discussions with customers.

4. Startup & Scale-up Execution

• Operate effectively in a startup or scale-up environment, handling fast-changing requirements and limited resources.

• Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, quality, and scalability.

• Build systems and teams from early stages while preparing platforms for future growth.

5. Government & Enterprise Engagement

• Work professionally with government and public-sector organizations, understanding structured processes, compliance requirements, and formal approval workflows.

• Ensure systems and deliveries align with governance, security, and regulatory expectations.

• Manage expectations and communication across stakeholders with different levels of technical and organizational maturity.

6. Delivery, Operations & Quality

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from requirement gathering to production deployment.

• Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

• Support critical production issues and provide technical decision-making when necessary.

7. Technology Strategy & Innovation

• Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to support innovation and long-term growth.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in software development and system architecture.

• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Strong background in API integration, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

• Experience with DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Leadership & Communication

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and owning technical delivery.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients, executives, and government stakeholders.

• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Business & Delivery

• Experience managing project delivery, timelines, and budgets.

• Background in software solution companies, system integrators, startups, or digital product environments is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Web3.0, Blockchain, or decentralized platforms.

• Experience delivering enterprise or government-scale systems.

• Exposure to financial services, e-Government, or regulated industries.
