Our client is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement and optimise scalable data pipelines, develop and maintain datasets, and build automated ETL processes and lead the team of data engineer.
What you'll do:
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and optimising scalable data pipelines. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining datasets while building automated ETL processes. Your extensive experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure data services will be crucial to your success in this role. You will apply your strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts daily. Your proficiency in SQL, Python or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering will be highly valued.
- Designing, implementing and optimising scalable data pipelines.
- Developing and maintaining datasets.
- Building and managing automated ETL processes.
- Working extensively with Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure data services.
- Applying knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Utilising proficiency in SQL, Python or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.
- Gaining experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Familiarising yourself with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
